Smashing Thanks Giving♥

Hope you had the most fantastic time.

It was splendid.
My sisters and i all wore pretty little dresses to dinner and my little brother a spiffy hat.
We smiled. We laughed.
All in all it was just dandy.
(my stomach muscles are sore from giggling with Ms.Laria)

To my daddy: You are the greatest daddy.ever.{but you already knew that.} Thank you for being mine♥
To Mama: I love you♥ Thank you for being such a smashing mother and friend.
P.S-i think it's really cool you are learning Spanish.

53♥potatoes♥and a cook off♥

Papa had his birthday.
♥one cake♥nine people♥and fifty-three candles♥
It was a heck of a time i do believe.
Even though the cake Miss Bella and Mama made fell a bit apart.
It still tasted good.

This week we went and volunteered at the soup kitchen with the family.
It was loverly.
I got to mash some potatoes.♥
I ♥ doing that.
We all had a v.e.r.y. good time.

Last night we had a cook off.
Boys against girls.
Guess who won...
Yes, the girls.*smile*

The boy's side made these cookies......and the girls side made these...Lets just say it was interesting.
Anywho...

Tonight is an early Thank Giving dinner.
Who doesn't like having thank giving twice, right?

♥i ran an XC race

♥i played chopsticks on the piano in Costco

♥and listened to a bit of opera

Football and a not so lovely walk

Last night i went to a football game. I had quite the time…even though we lost. [13 to 29] Bother. I’m not sure i totally understand the game…ok, well, i don’t understand the game at all. I try, but it just doesn’t happen. I think i’m one of those people who needs someone next to them explaining every tid bit that’s happening. And my mother and sisters aren’t those people.{haha..} Nonetheless it was just dandy.{i think}

We went on a little walk today. I thought it was hot and tiring and not lovely at all. Until i got to skip through the trees. Than it turned out to be ok. A bit more than ok. So i’m happy…for now.

Pick a Pear

Yesterday we picked our pears. Such fun. *smile* I really do love going out with my little apron and filling my spiffy red crate up. Love it. . .i think you would too.*wink* We seriously have quite the bunch of pears. They are everywhere now. I know what i’ll be eating this month. Have any good pear recipes?

Princess Parking Only

This week has been so very spiffy. Loved every part. Tired out but happy nonetheless. *smile*

We had a little Birthday bash for Mother sometime during the week.♥ It was smashing. A surprise tea party at a friends house. Made me happy. Daddy made the cake, and let me tell you i was surprised at how well he did.{even though it was just from a box(o:} And Miss Bella has some marvelous frosting skills. *wink* *wink* She got some lovely gifts too. Flowers, cards, letters, bath salts…

Thursday i went to my first XC meet of the season. Three hours on the bus wasn’t so bad. On our way there we took a stop in this little town that was oh so adorable. Cute signs, cute shops, cute cars. Made me want to live there.

It turned out to be a good day. A little lack of sleep but all is well after a nap{or three}.*smile* The rest of that day consisted of Arizona Tea, mint chip ice cream, a flirty cashier, bananas, tangerines, &bagels.

…And today my sisters and i rode our bikes down to the park, ran, and did some indoor soccer at the tennis courts. It was fun. Learned a lot.{like not to play the game “muff”. Hehe…} I pretty much napped the rest of the day. Fell asleep as we were watching the movie “Marie Antoinette”. Bummer…i always fall asleep while movies. Anywho…

The weekend was very dandy.

Saturday i made pancakes in the morning. They were wonderful. Though i think i always eat to much of the pancake batter. Bother… I learned not to write “i am in love♥” on other peoples facebook statuses. It stated with laughter and ended with sorrys, talking in the cul-de-sac, flowers{lots of flowers}, hugs, jokes being cracked when they shouldn’t be, and Daniel Powter. We’re all friends again. *SMILE*

Today was oh so lovely. I got a spiffy new pair of running shoes. Let me just say, my foot can breath. It’s amazing. *smile* I LOVE taking those little jogs around the store while you try to decide which shoe to get. Mmmm…fun fun fun. A new pair of running shoes is like candy… I even got some Ninja tape to use this xc season. We also took a little trip to Goodwill. And then another Goodwill. So it was a Goodwill x2 kind of day. Which makes it even better. I got a spiffy running shirt{your i-pod can slide into the sleeve. yes i love it}, some spandex{who doesn’t like spandex*wink*}, and a bright lellow wrap{sunshine!all!around!me!}. Everything is amazing. It turned out to be one very smashing weekend.

A little rain, a little laser tag, a little pudding...

Joy. Joy. Joy. It’s was raining today.{♥}

I played Laser tag yesterday…today…and maybe i’ll even play tomorrow. It’s fun. I have to wonder why the little neighbor boy and my brother keep beating me though. They say it’s my strategy, but i don’t think so. I bet they’re cheating…somehow…*wink*

My sisters and i went on a walk yesterday. It was just grand. It was one of those walks where you don’t really know where you’re going so you just walk along till someone has an idea. We stopped at 7Eleven and bought 99 cent Arizona tea drinks. Those are the best. And i just love it when you go up to pay and the nice man rings them up and says $2.97. It makes me smile…i don’t know why.(*smile*) We sat on a bench right across the street and watched cars drive by after that. It fun to see all the odd faces we got when people look out their car windows. I’m not sure why they were odd faces but they were…well most of them at least.♥And then…{we made wishes in the fountain}♥After that we walked along to go to the thrift store. Miss Bella got some spiffy books i do believe. 50¢ each. Mmm…good deal right. Who doesn’t like books that are 50¢. *SMILE*I even got to go to the Museum at the end of the walk. So i was happy. It turned out to be quite splendid i think. . .

{it smells like paint right now. Ria primered part of the livingroom yesterday while we were gone. I ♥ the smell of paint. And you know i’m finally able to smell a little again. My cold has almost left for good.}

Today is going to be a smashing day i do so hope. For me and for you.

To be a boat...

Today my little brother and i made some :::PAPER BOATS::: together.♥

We made 10. Well, i made 9 and he made 1. But i’ll just say we made 10. Cause that’s just better.

We love boats

Then i had a smashing idea. Since my little brother and i had so much fun making these paper boats we decided to show you how. Follow the directions and put any twists and turns on your boat as you want. Cause twists and turns are the best.

first you must make a paper hat.

Bring the ends together

And flatten it sideways

Then you turn one corner up

Then the other one

Again bring the ends together

And flatten it sideways

Then gently pull the ends open

And there is your boat!

Now you go fill the bathtub up and go float your boat! Don’t forget the army men, indians, and cowboys to put in the boats. That makes it even more smashing.
